Look Book: 4th of July

News Flash: Not all 4th of July outfits have to be star spangled and super striped!

For a mid-summer holiday that promotes three of the most classic colors in any female’s wardrobe, it has always pained me that the fashion opportunities of July 4th are frequently overlooked.

Ladies, let us not break the bank on flag plastered cutoff shorts and star spangled infinity scarves that can only be worn once yearly henceforth, and instead, throw together a fabulous and patriotic outfit with the summery knits that are already on rotation in our wardrobes at this timely moment.

From my closet to yours, here are some subtler, on-trend outfit ideas that are perfect for celebrating, picnicing, and barbecuing in style this Independence Day weekend. Enjoy!
